Interested in visiting Hanoi, Vietnam as a Nomad or Remote Worker? Hanoi is one of the best places to go that can offer you lots of Coffee Shops for working and Attractions, also Hanoi is the Capital of Vietnam and it is located in northern Vietnam on the western bank of the Red River. Maybe you’re questioning what is Red River is, this is also known as the Hong River and it begins in China’s Yunnan province in the mountains south of Dali.

Hold on, this will not tackle the entire history of Hanoi but focus on the Cafe Shops in Hanoi Vietnam for our fellow Nomads and Remote workers that travel around the world to discover the different countries and cultures so let's start discussing what the coffee in Vietnam then you must try:

Filter Coffee (Ca Phe Sua Nong or Ca Phe Den Nong):

Ca Phe Sua Nong: Presenting Vietnamese coffee with milk, crafted by brewing dark roasted coffee beans using the traditional metal drip filter called a phin. The coffee delicately drips into a glass, and sweetened condensed milk can be incorporated according to personal taste.

Ca Phe Den Nong: If you enjoy your coffee without any additives, this is the choice for you. It's the same drip-filtered coffee, just without the addition of milk.

Iced Coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da or Ca Phe Da):

Ca Phe Sua Da: Iced coffee with milk is crafted by brewing coffee using a phin filter, followed by mixing it with sweetened condensed milk and serving the blend over ice.

Ca Phe Da: Iced black coffee is prepared in the same manner as Ca Phe Sua Da, but without the addition of milk.

Egg Coffee (Ca Phe Trung):

Certainly not your typical coffee with an egg perched on it! Egg coffee represents a delectable innovation from Hanoi. It consists of whipped egg yolk blended with condensed milk to create a frothy, creamy foam, which is then combined with a shot of rich dark coffee. Envision it as a Vietnamese rendition of tiramisu.

Coconut Coffee (Ca Phe Cot Dua):

While not adhering to traditional norms, the youth in Vietnam have developed a fondness for coconut coffee. This unconventional beverage involves the fusion of robust coffee with coconut cream or milk, resulting in a flavorful and tropical concoction.

Yogurt Coffee (Sua Chua Ca Phe):

An additional creative twist! Robust coffee blends with dense yogurt to create yogurt coffee, presenting a tangy and invigorating indulgence perfect for warm weather.

Weasel Coffee (Ca Phe Chon):

Civet cats, occasionally referred to as weasels, ingest and excrete beans utilized in the production of this distinctive coffee. The enhancement of flavor is attributed to the fermentation process within the digestive system of these animals. This unique coffee variety is both rare and comes with a high price tag, making it a sought-after delicacy.

Salt Coffee (Cà Phê Muối):

In Vietnam, salted coffee puts a fresh spin on the traditional brew, bringing together the bold flavors of Vietnamese coffee and a hint of artisanal sea salt. The outcome is a balanced fusion that elevates the natural sweetness of the coffee, crafting a savory and gratifying taste experience. This creative twist has gained popularity in Vietnamese cafes, drawing in both locals and travelers who are captivated by its unique and enjoyable flavor.
